What's "Ume & Umeshu"?

Ume may look similar plums or apricots; however, it is a different fruit and very sour. In Japan, we have been finding creative ways to enjoy it for more than 1,000 years.

Umeshu, often called plum wine, is a traditional Japanese liqueur made by steeping ume in alcohol and sugar, enjoyed for over 300 years.

How to enjoy Umeshu & Ume syrup

    To enjoy the pure flavor of Umeshu, we recommend drinking it on the rocks.

    For a crisp and refreshing taste, we recommend Umeshu with soda.

    Mixing it with hot water brings out the rich aroma of the Ume, allowing you to enjoy a mellow flavor.

    To fully enjoy the aroma and flavor of the Ume, we recommend drinking it straight.

FAQ

You can make as many bottles as you like within the session time.
Guests aged 20 and over are welcome to make both Umeshu and syrup.
For the second bottle onwards, please pay on-site. (The first bottle is paid for at the time of booking.)

We have documentation that includes details such as ingredients, volume, alcohol content, and the processing state of the ume fruit (confirming there is no risk of germination) available at the following link.

After your ume workshop, do not remove the special silicone cap.
Please keep it in the designated box we provide and check it in as luggage.

After completion, be sure to store in the refrigerator and serve as soon as possible. Since it contains no preservatives, it may ferment.

No fee up to 48 hours prior. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 100% charge.

【Late Arrivals】 Sessions start promptly with other guests. If you are running late, please contact the store via email. Please note that depending on your arrival time, you may not be able to participate in part or all of the program.

【Cancellations】 To cancel, please access the "Manage Reservation" page from the link in your confirmation email and follow the instructions.

Guests under 20 (including children) are welcome to make Ume syrup. However, making Umeshu is limited to guests aged 20 and older.
