Hello everyone,
This is Nakao, Ume Concierge at the Kamakura store.
Ume fruit left after making umeshu or syrup is delicious on its own, but with just a little twist, it can become a perfect side dish.
Today, I’ll share a quick and easy recipe—an ume dip sauce that’s great when you’re short on ideas for your meal.
【[Recipe】(Cooking time: 10 minutes)
- 3 infused ume
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp miso
1.Finely chop the leftover ume.

2.Mix all the ingredients together, and it’s ready!

The crisp texture of the ume adds a delightful accent to the dip.
Enjoy it with cucumber, daikon, celery, or your favorite fresh vegetables!
