This is Nakao, Ume Concierge at the Kamakura store.
When I’m tired, I love drinking tart ume syrup.
Today, I’d like to introduce a simple and healthy snack made with just leftover ume from umeshu or ume syrup: Ume Semi-Dried Fruit.

1.Remove the seeds from the leftover ume, spread flat, and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

2.Dry in the oven at 120℃ for 30 minutes.

3.Remove from the oven, flip the ume pieces over, and let cool.
Packed with concentrated umami, these semi-dried ume are the perfect snack for a quick break during work or study.
