Plum details

Organically grown Nanko plums have been cultivated over 20 years, starting with soil preparation, in collaboration with producers in Wakayama Prefecture. By harvesting about two weeks before full ripeness, you can enjoy the refreshing Japanese scent of sakuramochi.

How to make a butterfly plum kit

Making the butterfly plum kit is very easy!


STEP1

Dry the washed bottle and remove the stem from the frozen plum.


STEP2

Add all the plums and sugar alternately to the bottle.


STEP3

In the case of plum wine, pour the sake at the end. (M size: 120ml, L size: 240ml)

*Please be sure to pour alcohol with an alcohol content of 20% or more.

*Alcohol is not sold. Make your own plum wine using your favorite alcohol.

The Minabe/Tanabe region in the southwestern part of the Kii Peninsula is the largest producer of plums in Japan. 50% of the plums grown in Japan are harvested here. The historic plum production system, which has been improved since the Edo period, has been selected as a World Agricultural Heritage Site.
