Plum details

Bungo is a representative variety of Aomori Prefecture.
Because it is a hybrid with apricot, it has a low acidity and is sweet like a plum even when eaten as is.

Because it is a variety that grows large fruits, it was harvested exclusively for Choya when it was fully ripe, 1.5 times the normal size.


*Some products may have scratches during harvest, but there is no problem with the quality.

How to make a butterfly plum kit

Making the butterfly plum kit is very easy!


STEP1

Dry the washed bottle and remove the stem from the frozen plum.


STEP2

Add all the plums and sugar alternately to the bottle.


STEP3

In the case of plum wine, pour the sake at the end. (M size: 120ml, L size: 240ml)

*Please be sure to pour alcohol with an alcohol content of 20% or more.

Plum production area

Nanbu Town, Aomori Prefecture

Plum cultivation dates back to the Meiji era, when plum trees were planted as windbreaks for apple trees, as the area is very windy. It is now the largest production area in the Tohoku region. The plum grove trees that are planted together with the apricot Hachisuke tree, which is a local specialty, are very tall and have a great sense of scale.
