Rinshu is a native variety from Nishiyoshino, Gojo City, Nara Prefecture.

Because the plum fruit is too soft and easily crushed in the umeboshi barrel, it has been replaced with other varieties, and now it is a rare variety that accounts for only about 3% of the plums grown in Nara Prefecture.

It has a strong acidity and a refreshing aroma similar to ramune.

How to make a butterfly plum kit

Making the butterfly plum kit is very easy!


STEP1

Dry the washed bottle and remove the stem from the frozen plum.


STEP2

Add all the plums and sugar alternately to the bottle.


STEP3

In the case of plum wine, pour the sake at the end. (M size: 120ml, L size: 240ml)

In particular, the Nishiyoshino area of ​​Gojo City has a large temperature difference, making it suitable for growing plums. There are about 200 plum farmers, and in addition to plums, persimmons are also grown. On a nice day in spring, walking around the plum fields while eating persimmon leaf sushi is very peaceful and soothing.
